Jason joined JOG Capital in January 2010 and is primarily involved in investment and portfolio analysis.

Jason has over six years of experience in the financial and oil and gas industry. Prior to JOG Capital, he interned at CIBC World Markets in Calgary with the Institutional Equity research group focusing on Large Cap Canadian E&P companies. Prior to CIBC, Jason spent three years as an analyst with Schachter Asset Management Inc. focusing on junior domestic and international oil and gas companies. Prior to Schachter Asset Management, Jason worked with AMEC on various large scale civil, water resource, mining and infrastructure projects as part of an engineering group.

Jason received his CFA charter in 2011 and holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business as well as an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
